I am currently a
Researcher JAE-DOC at the Institut d’Anàlisi Econòmica (IAE). Prior to
joining the IAE I was an Assistant Professor at the University of Alicante. On June 2006, I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Economics
at the European University
Institute, and I got my B.A. in
Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. My main research interests are Labor
Economics and Applied Microeconometrics. My current
work focuses on the economic implications of migration for receiving
countries. I also participate in a project to detect discrimination against
immigrants in the rental market. Furthermore I have some work on cultural
transmission and its implications for the persistence of inequality across
generations. I can be reached at lidia.farre@iae.csic.es
